Shelter the Poor

Life Ministry would not fulfill its purpose if it didn’t provide homes for those in need. We show God’s love and help renew minds in preparation for a lasting fresh start. From there, we work on providing shelter. We work with the homeless to help them find a job, repair their credit, and get them on the path to paying for their home. Life Ministry also rehabs homes in Detroit to provide lease-to-own programs for those that progress through our renew the mind programs.

LEASE TO OWN PROGRAMS THROUGH LIFE MINISTRY REHAB PROJECTS

Life Ministry believes in the power of restoration, which is why we obtain abandoned homes through the Detroit Land Bank or donations in order to rehab and provide shelter to the poor. We start by renting individual rooms around the city and will gradually work towards relocating individuals to their own house with a lease to own program once they have demonstrated an ability to support their own home.

CREDIT REPAIR

Credit is so important when one needs assistance getting back on their feet. Our credit repair program will help individuals eventually get access to additional resources that require a solid credit score.

    SERCURITY DEPOSIT ASSISTANCE

    Sometimes the final roadblock can be the hardest to overcome. That is why Life Ministry offers security deposit assistance to individuals that have sufficiently worked through our renew the mind programs. We will provide these security deposits as a little to no interest loan, which gets gradually repaid overtime.
